MINUTES OF A MEETING OF CHADDESLEY CORBETT PARISH COUNCIL
PLANNING COMMITEE
Held on Monday 4 April
2005
at the Chaddesley Corbett Village Hall

Present: Chairman, Cllrs Mr J Swift, Mr C Dodge, Mrs S Holding, Mr M Gibbs, Mr D Spencer, Mr H Grove, Mrs P Pardoe, Mr J Millington.

1. APOLOGIES: Cllrs Mrs V Adams (ill), Mr R Higgins

2. MINUTES OF MEETING held on 7 March were approved and signed.

3. REPORT ON ITEMS RAISED AT PREVIOUS MEETINGS:
The Alms House, Worcester Road, Harvington: A site visit for Cllrs had been arranged for Friday 8 April 2005.

4 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST: None

5 ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION/DECISION: None

6. CORRESPONDENCE/OTHER INFORMATION RECEIVED:
   6.1 Chaddesley Driers Site, Longmore: Appeal lodged in respect of erection of two detached houses.
   6.2 Land off Hemming Way, Chaddesley Corbett: Notification of sale of land to West Mercia Housing Association for 15 low cost units and commencement of site investigation on 31 March 2005.
From information received it appeared that all the units would now be on one site and the clerk was asked to obtain clarification.
A letter had been received from a resident regarding contractors using Fisher’s Lane for access to the site, and resulting damage. It was agreed that this should be referred to West Mercia Housing Association and the clerk would provide the resident with the contact name.

7. PREVIOUS PLANNING APPLICATIONS APPROVED/REJECTED:
   7.1 Picklewell House, Brockencote – Swimming Pool – Approved.
   7.2 Sherwood Cottage, Drayton – Rear Porch – Approved.
   7.3 Red House Farm, Harvington – Farm building – Approved.

8. PLANNING APPLICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION
   8.1 Brook Cottage, Hill Pool – Conservatory: No objections.
   8.2 Swancote Farm, Tanwood Lane, Chaddesley Corbett: Alterations to units and garage block. No objections subject to recommendations in the Barns Conversion Policy.
   8.3 Former Malting House, Harvington Hall: LBC and Change of Use to form educational heritage centre. No objections subject to a Highways Appraisal.
   8.4 Holly Lodge, Mustow Green: Boundary Wall – No objections.
   8.5 Drayton House, Drayton: Alterations to cellar – No objections.
   8.6 1 Elm Place, Harvington: Rear first floor balcony – No objections.
