MINUTES OF A MEETING OF CHADDESLEY CORBETT PARISH COUNCIL
PLANNING COMMITTEE
Held on Monday 10 January 2005
at the Chaddesley Corbett Village Hall

Present: Chairman, Cllrs Mr C Dodge, Mrs V Adams, Mrs S Holding, Mr C Rowberry, Mr M Gibbs, Mr D Spencer, Mr J Millington, Mr H Grove, Mrs P Pardoe, Mr R Higgins.
Clerk: Mrs Y Scriven
Some 20 members of the public also attended the meeting.

1. APOLOGIES: Cllr Mr J Swift.  In the absence of the Chairman, Vice Chairman Cllr Mrs V Adams took the Chair.
2. MINUTES OF MEETING held on 6 December 2004 were approved and signed.
3. REPORT ON ITEMS RAISED AT PREVIOUS MEETINGS: None

7. PREVIOUS PLANNING APPLICATIONS APPROVED/REJECTED:
7.1 Potters Park, Chaddesley Corbett: Change of use to the grazing of horses and erection of stable building – Approved.
7.2 The Lodge, Winterfold School: Erection of rear extension – Refused.
7.3 Herons Pool, Harvington Hall Lane: Replacement of timbers, new barn door and repairs/alterations – Approved.
7.4 Chaddesley Driers Site, Longmore: Demolition of existing drain grain dryer and manufacturing shed with two detached houses – Refused.
8. PLANNING APPLICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION
8.1 Lodgecote, Brockencote – Erection of single storey side extension: No objections, subject to the use of matching materials.
8.2 The Pound Barn, Bluntington: - Erection of dormer window.: No plans were provided so the Parish Council were unable to comment.
8.3 Swancote Farm, Tanwood Lane, Chaddesley Corbett: - Internal alterations to all five units, including additional windows and rooflights, etc: The Parish Council could not tell from the plans submitted exactly what changes had been made, but had no objections as long as the proposals comply with the Barns Conversion Policy
8.4 The Coach House, Tanwood Lane, Chaddesley Corbett: Repair, refurbishment and external alterations to building to allow use as offices with ancillary parking provision: It was understood that some of the refurbishment and alterations to the building were retrospective. The Parish Council felt that the proposal was contrary to the Green Belt Policy, would require Highways approval and change of use application. They could not support this application.
8.5 Chaddesley Wood Farm, Bromsgrove Road, Chaddesley Corbett: Erection of agricultural works dwelling: No objections if the application complied with the agricultural development criteria and was subject to an agricultural occupancy restriction.
