1. APOLOGIES:

2. MINUTES OF MEETING held on 6 June and 20 June were approved and signed.

3. REPORT ON ITEMS RAISED AT PREVIOUS MEETINGS: None

4 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST: None

5 ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION/DECISION: None

6. CORRESPONDENCE/OTHER INFORMATION RECEIVED:
6.1 Electronic Planning Applications:     Mike Parker of Wyre Forest District Council had responded to a letter from the Parish Council regarding the cost of providing electronic facilities in the Village Hall for dealing with planning applications. He indicated that he was not yet ready to discuss the details of the proposal but would work with Parish Council Councils in making the necessary changes, which could include an element of financial support. The Parish Council confirmed their interest in the scheme and their request for financial assistance to purchase the necessary equipment and provide a broadband connection in the village hall.
6.2 Planning Applications:    Responding to an enquiry from the Parish Council, Miss Clare Eynon, Development Control Manager of Wyre Forest District Council indicated that extension to properties in the Green Belt must be subservient to and not overwhelm the original building, which should retain its visual dominance. As Chaddesley Corbett is within the Green Belt this would explain why many of the reasons for refusal of planning applications are referring to disproportionate additions over and above the size of the original building. Extracts from the Adopted Plan had been circulated in relation to design of residential extensions.

7. PREVIOUS PLANNING APPLICATIONS APPROVED/REJECTED:
7.1 4, Elms Place Cottage, Worcester Road, Harvington: Single storey rear extension: Approved.
7.2 Holmbrook, Bromsgrove Road, Chaddesley Corbett: Two storey extension: Approved.

8. PLANNING APPLICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION
8.1 The Lodge, Winterfold House School – Resubmission – rear extensions: No objections subject to previous comments made on this application.
8.2 Bradford House Farm, Curslow Lane, Chaddesley Corbett: New Vehicular Access and conversion of barn to holiday accommodation: No objections, subject to barns policy, matching materials and a highways appraisal.
8.4 Land between 14 and 16 Briar Hill: New 2 storey dwelling (Resubmission): The Parish Council could not support this application as the  development needs to be more sympathetic to neighbouring properties. Concern was expressed about the influence its height would have on the privacy and amenities of No. 14 and No. 16. It was felt that a more modest structure should be considered.

Date of next meeting Monday 5 September 2005.

The Parish Council declare that at the time of signing these Minutes
they were a true and accurate record of what had taken place during the meeting
