MINUTES OF A MEETING OF CHADDESLEY CORBETT PARISH COUNCIL
PLANNING COMMITEE
Held on Monday 6 June 2005 at the Chaddesley Corbett Village Hall

Several members of the public also attended the meeting.

1. APOLOGIES: Cllr Mr S Williams, Mr C Rowberry

2. MINUTES OF MEETING held on 9 May 2005 were approved and signed.

3. REPORT ON ITEMS RAISED AT PREVIOUS MEETINGS:
3.1 Affordable Housing
A meeting had been arranged on Wednesday 8 June 2005 with Wyre Forest District Council, Planning Department and Housing Officer, West Mercia Housing Association and Walker Troup Architects. This meeting would be closed to the public. It was agreed that a further full Planning Committee meeting would be held to discuss this planning application and that representatives of the public would be allowed to make observations.

5 ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION/DECISION:
Items 7.1, 7.2, 7.3 of Minutes of Meeting of 9 May 2005 had not been actioned due to the clerk being on holiday. It was confirmed that a letter would be sent to the Planning Department regarding the policy of refusing extensions to properties which would result in a disproportionate addition over and above the size of the original dwelling.

6. CORRESPONDENCE/OTHER INFORMATION RECEIVED:
Electronic Planning Applications. Full discussion to take place at next meeting but Clerk asked to respond to Mr M Parker head of Planning to ask who would provide the facilities such as projector, laptop, etc which would be required if Parish Councils were to consider planning applications electronically. The clerk would provide them with her e-mail address.

7. PREVIOUS PLANNING APPLICATIONS APPROVED/REJECTED:
    7.1 Drayton House, Drayton – Replacement of door and frame to stair hall, and other internal alterations, etc. – Approved.
    7.2 1 Elm Place, Harvington – First floor balcony – Approved.
    7.3 Swancote Barns, Chaddesley Corbett – Internal and external alterations – Approved
    7.4 Brook House, Hemmingway: Extensions and alterations: Approved
    7.5 Deansford Farm Outbuildings, Blakedown: Approved.

8. PLANNING APPLICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION
    8.1 Holmrook, Bromsgrove Road, Chaddesley Corbett – Two storey extension and bay window. No objections, subject to an appropriate scale and design which protects the privacy of adjacent properties.
    8.2 Drayton House, Drayton – Remove existing fireplace from sitting room and replace with timber panelling. No objections.
    8.3 Rosevine, Tanwood Lane, Chaddesley Corbett – 3 additional rooflights. No objections.
    8.4 4 Elm Place Cottage, Worcester Road, Harvington – single storey rear extension. No objections.
    8.5 Barn Cottage, Clattercut Lane – single stable with tack room building. No objections subject to appropriate materials being uses and a landscaping and waste management scheme.
    8.6 40 Briar Hill, Chaddesley Corbett – dormer window and loft conversion. No objections subject to no loss of privacy for neighbouring properties or loss of amenity to No. 38.
