MINUTES OF A MEETING OF CHADDESLEY CORBETT PARISH COUNCIL
PLANNING COMMITTEE

Held on Monday 7 November 2005
at the Chaddesley Corbett Village Hall at 7.30pm

Present: Chairman, Cllrs Mr J Swift, Mr C Dodge, Mrs S Holding, Mrs V Adams, Mr D Spencer, Mrs P Pardoe, Mr C Rowberry, Mr M Gibbs,
Clerk Mrs Y Scriven
Members of the public also attended the meeting.

1. APOLOGIES: Cllrs Mr J Millington, Mr H Grove

2. MINUTES OF MEETING held on 3 October 2005 were approved and signed.

3. REPORT ON ITEMS RAISED AT PREVIOUS MEETINGS: None

4 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST: None

5 ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION/DECISION:
    5.1 Affordable Housing Allocation: Since the last meeting Cllr Mr Swift had been asked to consider a number of other persons to act as representative on the Committee to formulate the policy. He asked if this matter could be deferred to the Executive Committee for further consideration and report back to the Parish Council at the next meeting.. This was agreed.

6. CORRESPONDENCE/OTHER INFORMATION RECEIVED: None

7. PREVIOUS PLANNING APPLICATIONS APPROVED/REJECTED:
    7.1 Double Mobile Classroom at Chaddesley Corbett First School Permission granted. Unit to be removed by 30 September 2007.
    7.2 Land between 14 and 16 Briar Hill: Approved two storey dwelling on this site.
    7.3 Kingscote Farm Barns, Chaddesley Corbett: Change of Use – Refused.
    7.4 The Malthouse, Harvington Hall: Approved

8. PLANNING APPLICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
    8.1 The Post Office, Chaddesley Corbett: Internal alterations to form toilets off the tea room. No objections subject to Environmental Officer’s report and any requirement for disabled access.
    8.2 37 Briar Hill, Chaddesley Corbett: Revised plans for two storey extension. No objections.
    8.3 Magnolia Cottage, 42 Briar Hill: Erection of garden buildings, decking and fishpond. No objections, although it was understood that this was a retrospective application.
