MINUTES OF A MEETING OF CHADDESLEY CORBETT PARISH COUNCIL
PLANNING COMMITEE
Held on Monday 3 October 2005
at the Chaddesley Corbett Village Hall at 7.30pm

Present: Chairman, Cllrs Mr J Swift, Mr C Dodge, Mrs S Holding, Mrs V Adams, Mr D Spencer, Mr H Grove, Mrs P Pardoe, Mr C Rowberry, Mr J Millington, Mr M Gibbs,
Clerk Mrs Y Scriven
Members of the public also attended the meeting.

1. APOLOGIES: Cllrs Mr R Higgins

2. MINUTES OF MEETING held on 5 September 2005 were approved and signed.

3. REPORT ON ITEMS RAISED AT PREVIOUS MEETINGS:
3.1 Affordable Housing
  
         Update report from West Mercia Housing Association indicated that negotiations were continuing with Highways regarding the access road and would be discussed with Wyre Forest District Council shortly.

4 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST: None

5 ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION/DECISION:
  
5.1 Affordable Housing Allocation: It was agreed that Cllr Mr J Swift would approach Dr Spalding (or Dr Wilkie) to see if they would be prepared to represent the Parish on the committee to be formed to formulate the policy for allocation of housing. It was agreed that the representative should be impartial and someone the Parish as a whole could rely on to represent their interests.

6. CORRESPONDENCE/OTHER INFORMATION RECEIVED:
6.1 New database system for Planning and Building Control services at the District Council to be introduced on 22 September 2005. Weekly list of planning applications would be delayed as a result.

7. PREVIOUS PLANNING APPLICATIONS APPROVED/REJECTED:

7.1 The Pound, Drayton Road: Extensions and double garage approved.

8. PLANNING APPLICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION

8.1 Tanwood House and Barns – Change of Use, etc. Revised application received, but none of previous concerns had been addressed. Agreed the Chairman would telephone planning to discuss. (Chairman since reported that the application has been withdrawn).
