MINUTES OF A MEETING OF CHADDESLEY CORBETT PARISH COUNCIL
PLANNING COMMITEE
Held on Monday 6 February 2006
at the Chaddesley Corbett Village Hall at 7.30pm

1. APOLOGIES: Cllr Mr J Millington

2. MINUTES OF MEETING held on 9 January 2006 were approved and signed.

3. REPORT ON ITEMS RAISED AT PREVIOUS MEETINGS:
3.1 Affordable Housing: Letter received from Paul High - Noted.

4 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST:
Item 8.2: As Cllr M R Higgins owned the adjacent property he left the room whilst this item was discussed.

5 ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION/DECISION:
None

6. CORRESPONDENCE/OTHER INFORMATION RECEIVED:
6.1 Sadlers Cottage, The Village, Chaddesley Corbett: Application to Crown lift lime tree and fell eucalyptus tree. No objections.

7. PREVIOUS PLANNING APPLICATIONS APPROVED/REJECTED:
7.1 The Lodge, Winterfold – Rear Extensions: Approved.
7.2 Affordable Housing, Hemming Way, Chaddesley Corbett: Refused on highways issues.

8. PLANNING APPLICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION
8.1 Land Adjacent Tanwood House and Tanwood Barns – Reapplication showing location of public footpath; Change of Use of stable building and change of use of land for keeping horses:Previous objections still apply. Noted that new position of building appears to be close to gas pipeline network.

L’isle House, Drayton Grove, Drayton: Utility room extension and rear canopy: Initial planning approval for this development of houses was on the basis that no further extensions to the footprint of these houses would be required in the future, and Cllrs felt that this would set a precedent. Hedgerows should also be protected.
8.3 Glen Acres Kennels and Cattery – Single storey office extension: No objections, subject to the use of matching materials, and retention of existing screen.
8.4 Woodlands, Clattercut Lane: Erection of new agricultural building to be used for storage of straw and materials: It was felt that the position of the building could be integrated into other existing buildings to reduce impact on Clattercut Lane; otherwise no objections.
