
MINUTES OF A MEETING OF CHADDESLEY CORBETT PARISH COUNCIL
PLANNING COMMITEE
Held on Monday 6 March 2006 at the Chaddesley Corbett Village Hall at 7.30pm
Present: Vice Chairman, Mrs V Adams, Mr C Dodge, Mrs S Holding, Mr D Spencer,
Mrs P Pardoe, Mr C Rowberry, Mr M Gibbs, Mr R Higgins,
Clerk Mrs Y Scriven.
Members of the public also attended the meeting.

2. MINUTES OF MEETING held on 6 February were approved and signed.
3. REPORT ON ITEMS RAISED AT PREVIOUS MEETINGS:
3.1 Woodlands, Clattercut Lane, Chaddesley Corbett: It was understood that this
application had been withdrawn following consultation with the District Council
who had suggested that the building should be located further into the site, to
reduce the visual impact on Clattercut Lane.

7. PREVIOUS PLANNING APPLICATIONS APPROVED/REJECTED:None
8. PLANNING APPLICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION
8.1 Hill Pool School House, External access to garage loft space: The Parish
Council considered this development architecturally disappointing and
inappropriate in an open greenbelt area.
8.2 Melody Cottage, Drayton, External alterations to form bedroom and dormer
window: No objections subject to protection of privacy and amenities of adjacent
property.
8.3 Broughton Cottage, The Village, Chaddesley Corbett: Internal Alterations,
erection of screen wall, Listed Building Consent for ground floor saloons. The
Parish Council did not feel qualified to comment on a Listed Building
application, in the absence of a report from the Conservation Officer, and
requested a site visit and report prior to further consideration of this
application.
